we seem to have lost the Yamaha oil filter wrench and could only get a aftermarket one to replace it. The one we purchased is a little deeper and we had to grind down a rachet in order to have room between the filter wrench and the frame. :die

Nice blue bottles

GET A K&N OIL FILTER IT HAS A 10MM NUT WELDED TO THE END & A FLUID EVACUATOR YOU CAN SUCK THE OIL RIGHT OUT OF THE DIPSTICK. DONE IN 20 MINUTES.

By doing that does it gewt out all of the oil ??

I would say 95% comes out, I pour 1/2 a quart of new oil back in and than suck that back out just to get any left overs out, but it works great. I was wrong about the nut size on the k&n filter it is a 17mm not 10mm.

Out of the dipstick tube, where you check your oil level. The tip of the dipstick is in the bottom of the motor. I just stick the rubber hose right down in and suck it out with a fluid evacuator not with my mouth. Next time I do it I will take a pic, but will not be for a month or two, just did it mid December. You can suck the oil right out a car, lawnmower, or a motorcycle. I can change the oil on 10 zeroturn lawnmowers in an hour. It's sweet. Now a good fluid evac is not cheap $200-$300 but at $100 an oil change at your local dealer it doesn't take long for it to pay for itself.
