we seem to have lost the Yamaha oil filter wrench and could only get a aftermarket one to replace it. The one we purchased is a little deeper and we had to grind down a rachet in order to have room between the filter wrench and the frame.

Nice blue bottles

GET A K&N OIL FILTER IT HAS A 10MM NUT WELDED TO THE END & A FLUID EVACUATOR YOU CAN SUCK THE OIL RIGHT OUT OF THE DIPSTICK. DONE IN 20 MINUTES.

I would say 95% comes out, I pour 1/2 a quart of new oil back in and than suck that back out just to get any left overs out, but it works great. I was wrong about the nut size on the k&n filter it is a 17mm not 10mm.zook said:By doing that does it gewt out all of the oil ??

Out of the dipstick tube, where you check your oil level. The tip of the dipstick is in the bottom of the motor. I just stick the rubber hose right down in and suck it out with a fluid evacuator not with my mouth. Next time I do it I will take a pic, but will not be for a month or two, just did it mid December. You can suck the oil right out a car, lawnmower, or a motorcycle. I can change the oil on 10 zeroturn lawnmowers in an hour. It's sweet. Now a good fluid evac is not cheap $200-$300 but at $100 an oil change at your local dealer it doesn't take long for it to pay for itself.SRXTripman said:Where do you suck the oil out of ? Here's a pretty good-lookin' pneumatic evacuator for $95. I am definitely gettin' one! No more draining oil or having trouble bleeding brakes. So sweet.
