The wet left foot water source?

sorry new photo popped up all of sudden showing the lower part of the sled--so is that what it is a frame protector that diverts the water?

I installed the plate it seems like thats way to easy of a fix?!!? I hope it really works. If the holes around the pipes were blocked I wonder if it would melt the gas tank since it's so close to that area? I would think the snow being thrown there would help keep the pipe temps lower to help that situation. I thought about making a sheild to put between the clutches and the motor to isolate each compartment. But I'll try the bottom plate first and see what happens. Someone has to have a 100 miles on an '09? Does it work?
