the theft usually occurs when you are fast asleep, not sure a monitor would help then

I carry a cable lock in the rear storage. Just long enough to tie two or three sleds together through the tracks. In some respects I'd rather have the heavy bitch on the ground locked up, then on a trailer.

I got a reply from LoJack, and am going to follow up with them again, becauseI wasn't really sure I understood what they were replying with.
They said they do not offer a product for snowmobiles, but I'm not sure why a motorcycle unit wouldn't work..
I was asking abotu a dealership, but they also said they did not have dealer service in my area, and wasn't able to help me, which didn't make sense. I know the Lojack that was installed inthe car I have here for restoration is working because I triggered it when I left the keys behind while trailering it.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it uses a combination of cell towers and public 2 way radio towers (police, fire, avaiation) to locate vehicles, which is why it works inside buildings.
I have used several products from another site that has security and tracking related products that may have something for those who are interested. (I'm not Nate007 for nothing.. LOL)
Some are wifi based, some GPS, some have to have a subscription, but the equipment isn't terribly expensive, and might be a great solution for those who are struggling with this issue.
