Theft tracking device??

Do any of you use a GPS tracking device on your machines? We are being told we can get a discount on our insurance if we install one. What are you using if you have one, we are looking at the "Spot" trace units.

That actually sounds like a good idea. It would be nice to track down a stolen sled and catch the jerk who took it.

you could do it easily,you could even do it with a prepay phone,hide it in the sled,put it in a fuse box case,hook up the power cord to the battery,they wouldn't even know it's there.just with an app you would be able to track it anywhere there is cell service,and it would have greater range than a gps tracking device
