This guy needs help.

About half way through the thread, he states it looks like it is being resolved.

I know, But the poor guy just getting the run around still.
He is and older man, "I think" and is quite upset. I think if it was my
dad or brother I would be all over this dealer.
And as for me I will do what I can to help him.

Remember we all need help in life, I hope we are just not all on are own.

PS it is not resolved

Honestly..I posted in the guys first thread..and second thread on the matter on HCS. He was bashing Yamaha and it is NOT a Yamaha problem. It is a DEALER problem. They guy got done wrong by the dealer and he LET himself get done wrong as he did not thoroughly check the sled over when he took delivery. Seriously, who does that? I feel bad for the guy, yes.........but sometimes in life you learn tough lessons and try not to make the same mistake twice. I GUARANTEE you he (and others who saw his post) will throroughly check over the sled they are buying, or any other merchandise they are buying for that matter.

Did you see the pics of all the damage? it is not just lightly scuffed here and there (which I would STILL have a problem taking a sled with scuffs or scratches). there is MAJOR, OBVIOUS damage to that sled and for somebody to not notice it when they take it home? Come on.

He can try to sue the dealer, but what judge would believe that somebody would be ignorant enough to take a sled (again, or any other merchandise) home from the dealer in that kind of shape? And you know the dealer is gonna say the sled was fine when he took it home and the damage must have happened after he took possession.

Again, it sucks. I do feel bad for the guy.

Holy sh=t, dealers in New York may get away with that sh@t but not in the Midwest.
Come on what kind of dealer would not stand behind something like that,
and way should you New York guys but up with that crap. That's not cool
I don't think this is a Yamaha problem, but do think yam should not put up with this from one of their dealers. You can see plan as day they ran a
fork lift in to the sled.

I saw that on HCS and still wonder why dealers use forklifts to move these machines around. I'd rather have mine driving on asphalt and get a few guys to load it into a truck or onto a trailer. Laziness these days...My dealer used one also when I picked mine up new and I was kind of mad about that but I didn't get any damage from it like his sled got..

How about telling us what Yamaha offered you? What kind of sled? what year? and how many miles are on it?
