I almost fell for a similar scam on eBay a few years ago. 2003 F7 sno pro with low miles and free shipping for $3500 buy it now. I emailed him a question about the shipping and everytime he replied back he also would lower the price. Luckily the Western Union transaction I attempted to make on line fell through for whatever reason and by the time I went back onto eBay, it was already removed. I then did a search and found the same sled on a chat site that someone had posted up pics and a description of their sled in a thread about F7's and appearantly this azz wipe just copied and pasted all of it into a phony eBay add that I almost fell for.

"Lynwood poole" wanted western union for an rx 1 in England, I knew it was too good of price and it was a scam, trader fraud alert spells it out, fun to toy with these scammers though, Al.

I just about got taken by the same type of scam on kijiji last week. it was for a 07 raptor for $3000.00. He said he was in the millitary and was heading to iraq. I sure wish they could end this type of scam, because for someone who is seriously looking to purchase something, these are a real pain.

An ex-coworker almost shipped a built Chevy 427 engine to Korea, for $10k; to John Smith. We made him wait, until the check cleared; it never did.

There was a sled listed here locally, (Springfield, MO) it was an 08 700 RMK, had good pics and everything. I told him I was really interested and I wanted to come look at it and I would bring cash. Got the generic reply, I'm in the process of moving and the sleds already crated up and at the shipping company but he was willing to pay for shipping. I sent them a reply that I was 10 mins away from ozark and I'd just come pick it up, never head back from them.
Now I just jack with people when I get replys like that I just send this back"hey nice try F&^%^r's I was born yesterday you D-bags!" or if they try to contact me with something I'm selling and they offer to pay way to much to "hold it" until they can get thier agent to come get it after payment clears I tell them to bring cash! That usually fixes it!

watch them!
everyone watch for these guys, My day job is a banker and way way too many times I see people ripped off by these scams. You would not believe how ruthless and cruel these rip off artists are! They will clean out your grandmother and leave her in the street cold n hungry. All the while the authorities sit idly by and seemingly let them get away with this over and over. Never ever give out your banking info to these people! they will clean you out, not legal but you will end up broke nontheless.
Buyer Beware!
