I just went for a ride to check what my top rpm would be in the current conditions(7*Celsius 44.6*f) and I was blown away!! My top rpm was always 8400 to 8600 in cold conditions well today it was hitting 9260rpm with ease! Freaken sled seems to runs faster in warmer conditions. I called wifey at work and told to take tomorrow off to go sledding (it may be the last run of the season as snow is melting fast) I now have 1800kms (1200m)on the machine!!

Careful...things usually go to hell when "it's the last run of the day"...reminds me of downhill skiing. ;)

You're doing the jinxing...I'm just making you aware of it. :-o

To my experience and my long time friend who is an Apex rider, theses sled seem to like warmer temps. My 3 cylinder get the best performance at approximately -7* Celsius.

I was thinking the same thing today. Temps here were also around 7C and I took her out for the last ride of the season (unless things improve by the weekend) and I had her close to verticle a few times in the deeper stuff, which I couldn't even come close to all season, and the increase in acceleration was significantly noticable.

Frig I was on the lake yesterday did a couple wot runs all i saw was 86 mph and on one run I came to a stop and it stalled no impressed slowest speeds and what's up with the stalling ???

Check your throttle cable adjustment. TORS on the viper cause it to shut off.
