Throttle Cable Help

Not sure where the other topics are on this but I need to find out where to find a longer throttle cable for an RX-1. I lifted the bars 4 inches. Which cable will work and how do you take the stock one out? Thanks.

i put on a 4 inch riser on my warrior and i needed these parts from a 2005 RX1 Mountain

8FW-26311-00-00 Throttle cable

8FW-26330-00-00 Choke cable

8FW-25872-00-00 Brake line

8FK-26351-00-00 Parking Brake Cable

Oh I didn't realize that I needed the other cables. I have everything hooked up. It only seemed that Ithe throttle needed to be replaced..thanks!

you dont need to replace all of them.

I replaced all of mine because I did a 7" riser

hmm....thats weird with my 4" i defiently needed to change all of the except the chocke but it was a little tight so i changed it anyways. the parking brake cable was wicked tight even without turning the bars......but hey if yours arent tight that will save ya some $$

Intresting..for what is worth the riser I'm using is a pivot riser, not sure what you are using but with the riser shifted forward it puts less pull on the wires..

that could be the reason mine is just a block riser

i put all of those cables and brake line on mine as my rox extenable riser is pivoted back instead of ahead like most are. still have to extend the wireing before i can extend it at all though.
