Wondering if anyone has the timing procedure for a 99 grizzly 600, I have it apart right now just waiting for parts, thanks. Also if anyone has any suggestions that would make it easier?

i would help you but never have had to do it on a grizz. usually there is a mark on the cam/'s and fly wheel that have to be lined up at tdc. also must align or make shure the counterbalancer is timed as well. some are gear driven and others are driven by the timing chain. it is the same for most small engines.

wish i could help more.

I know where the mark is on the sprocket that is connected to the cam, but unsure where i is on the crank.... I was trying to hold the chain so it wouldn't fall off the crank but when I was pulling it through the head it dropped down and I'm not sure if it skipped teeth on the crank and I dont want to take the risk.

is there a site to dl free manuals?

i have not found it but it is possible. the mark is on the outside of the flywheel and there is a plug and line for it to align to on the case. should be the same thing for the gear in the head. that is how my xt350 was marked and all my brothers xt125-250's. .
