I've got the mono shock removal / install down pretty well, removing the rear bolt for the transfer rod works well. But I'm unfamiliar w/the XTX skid.
Any tips to make the XTX skid easier to remove & install will be appreciated.
Does it help to 1st remove the bolts for cross shaft that goes thru the lower/aft end of the transfer rods on the XTX skid?
Looked on Tech Pages but didn't see anything there.
Thanks

I found simply unhooking the torsion springs worked quite well, or you can use a ratchet strap to compress the rear arm a little to get the holes to line up. Otherwise it's pretty straight forward and simple.

You can un-hook the front of the spring at the rails without even unbolting the brackets from the rails. Just lift up on the spring and flip the black plastic "thingy" forward to release the spring.
If you set the adjuster blocks to soft, it even makes it easier.

I've found removing one of the rear wheels makes getting the skid in and out much easier.
