- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
This sled is stock with stock settings. If so what can I do or should do. I measured the bumper height off the sled and then sat down on it and got a solid 5in. maybe 5.5 inches of travel. I keep catching the mudflal so easy when backing out of the trailer or a slight incline not to mention in the snow.
Sock it to me as I don't want to bottom out with my new studs either.

or you could just hold the flap up while you're backing up in the deep stuff... that is, if you can back up in the deep stuff.

Cut the flap (along bottom fold line, you cant miss it!), bend the aluminum out more too. Then she will work like its soposed to!

The above responses will solve the mud flap issue but, you should check your suspension anyway. You should set your ride height. I do it by placing a zip tie on the mono shock push it up on the shock then sit on the sled in gear. Now just measure the distance the zip tie moved. If my memory serves me I think the tolerance is 40-45 milimeters. Do a search it's in the apex forum some where.

Capt caper, 5.5 "at the bumper is alot of set in. I would guess that you will be bottoming often. Also that is part of the flap problem. Cut the lower off by two inchs like everyone says, that will help. Raise the pre- load a turn at a time till you like the rear end ride, and height.
