You can just put a 10mm wrench on any one of the nuts and turn clockwise while you push in on the wrench.
Mine used to be just a few threads left so no need for a tool just cut them and then wedge new belt half on and start it up and presto but now that I am not blowing belts every 100 miles I still use my hands, I must be stronger than I thought.
