I just ran my cobra track lastyear for about 1700 miles and while getting it ready I noticed one of the lugs is split, front to back. Does this mean the track is now junk? The split is just in the rubber lug and not down into the track material yet.

You can get an epoxy to repair torn lugs too, not sure of the name of it though. A friend of mine had a 2" track with about 20 lugs completed ripped off and he used an epoxy to seal the track so water could not get in and cause more damage.

I'm just bummed becuse the stock ripsaw had double that on it when I took it off and was fine while the cobra tears a lug so soon

Thats the problem with these single ply light weight new tracks, its hard to beat a preditor track.

Off trail tracks are softer and have longer, thinner lugs. The trails and tickling rocks and logs boondocking beat on tracks.

But like Apex06, i keep running them and they'll last longer than you think. The Challenger track on my Mt Viper would scare a lot of guys, but it's been that way for a long time and it keeps spinning.
