Can anyone tell me if Yamaha part number 8gl-47473-10-00 will fit my 2011 nytro xtx. I need heavier springs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is the correct p/n for the 2100 nm torsion springs. I bought the same springs last yr from Travis at Barn of Parts (he is on this site), for my 09 Nytro XTX.

I put 8GF-47473-10-00 Y and 8GF-47474-10-00 Y in my 2013 Nytro XTX after trimming about an 1.5” off end. And when all said and done I couldn’t compress the rear of sled . Even when I sat on it in full gear the rear maybe dropped half an inch.
So I took them back out and put stock ones back in

I should have mentioned that I'm 6.3" and 270 without gear and backpack. I def needed them. But they are stiff. I also bought Travis' 4 place adjuster.

I’m 5’11” and 265lbs. And it barely drops . Couldn’t beleave it. I did notice. When I was trying to bolt up the block to rail. The spring had a lot of pressure. It was had a slight bend to it also. When sitting in position.
Took them back out cause I didn’t want to splite a Rail that’s how much pressure was on it
Live and learn.
Expensive paper weights now. Lol
