I need a track clip tool. Where can I find the cheapest one? Its for my 06 Attak with the stock camoplast track. I already have the clips.

Kills me to spend the money on this as its only for 3 clips but....

Sno Stuff. Press style. Works great, I think it's about 80 bucks.

80 bucks. But I don't think that is the right height for a 1 1/4 lug track. It doesn't say. Unless someone has used it before.

I'm starting to come to terms with spending $100.00 for a tool I'll use once.

My other thought was to cut the window out next to the missing clip and put a clip there. I can borrow a track clip tool for the window with the rib. The person I'm borrowing it from does not have the die with room for the lug. Would that affect the weight balance of the track? Any issues with this? Or should I just STFU and buy the right tool????!!!!!!!!

Not close enought with the dealer for the place to loan you a tool for a night ? ..they might be happy to do this. One day you will need another machine or parts anyway.
Local dealer hand it to me for a week-end when i fully clipped my track.

I used it to apply clips to my 1.5" camoplast crossover and it worked fine.

The press came with two different hight dies, and the lug just bends over.

You could borrow mine, if you were a bit closer...

Thanks guys! Dealer is about 50 minutes away. I should say the dealer I give my business too. Great dealer and would probably rent or let me borrow tool....but the time and gas to get there when I don't need anything else....I might as well just buy one.

Could be a early Christmas gift to me from my Mom also! She never knows what to get me.

Which tool will work for a stock 2" track. I'm missing about 30 clips this year on my 05 RX-Mtn.
Dealer wont rent out tool and wants track off sled and $80hr to do the clips.

I'm sure buying is the best in this case.

The best is probably this tool:

Track Clip Tool(Reference #725-030)
Best clip tool yet! Heavy duty, long 18" handles for added leverage. This tool is used from the inside of the track. It can install clips on any lug height of track. Fits 1" wide clips.

I have the press tool in the Yellow case which I have used on sleds with 1.25" lugs and can't imagine why it wouldn't work for any lug height. I mean, it is only as wide as the track clip so lug height shouldn't even be a factor, right???

Royal Distribution have this kit and works well...at the very bottom right.

I would have to steer one away from the Kimpex pliar track tool (and I know this isn't the one you referenced - but just for people who are curious about them). I've already gone through 2 of them...they're made from very soft metal which wears out quickly and then the tool becomes entirely worthless.

Yeah I know, was just trying to warn people about the Kimpex pliar model just in case someone was thinking about ordering one. The press units are great.

I ordered the one from Royal. It says it will work for lugs up to 1 1/4. The Sno Stuff one said it will work for lugs up to 1 inch. ?????? The Royal one was more expensive also. I know people have said the Sno Stuff one works but I didn't want to get it and then have to return it.

Thanks for all the help!
