I am in the process of cutting down a 136" track from 15" to 14." So far i have only cut one side of the track. During the cutting at one point the fence i was following with my circular saw moved in, so rather than leaving an entire inch beyond my outside drive lug i only have 13/16. Basically that side is 3/16 narrower than I wanted it to be in that one short section. Im concerned that my outside wheels will now be very close to the edge of the track. So my question is:
Can i leave the other side a little wider say 1/8 to 3/16" and align the track slightly more to that side to center the wheels from the outside edge? Or will that make the track weight too uneven?
Ive seen guys with 13.5" tracks on phazers so I should still be able to run it, i would just rather have a little more width.
Thanks as always!

No. You can't align it. It would require a lot of modifications.

Just cut it and slam it on there and ride it. If its a hair narrower than youd like, really that wont make much difference. You're already getting more track on the ground with the 136. Personally Id make it the same width on both sides if I had your problem, just my 2cents

13.5 fits, so anything above that will.
Dont bother with alignment for that. Only to get the sag even.
