Aggresive trail and lake rider. Looking to replace my 13,000km ripsaw. Was at Toronto sled show spoke with designer at Camoplast booth. Think I might try a 128x1" x 15 ice ripper xt. Any one run these last year ?
Don't do much off trail riding and looking to pick up a few mph top end.
Bought a set of TRACKS USA rail extensions for the skid.
Any other recomendations in the 1" lug height ?

There is no 1" Ice Ripper XT, but there is a 1.063" Ice Attak track. I don't think you are going to pick up top speed (longer track will be heavier), but you should have better off the line traction.

First of all the 1.25" by 128" ice ripper weighs same as 121" ripsaw with 96 studs. I weighed 4 tracks side by side. The ice ripper is also single ply because you won't be running studs. In theory it should "roll" better, but that's only theory. The ice ripper is a great track if you want better stopping than non-studded track without the stud issues. i/e: stud tears, flappers that go through your radiator etc...it will not grab as good as studs stopping or launching, but does help. It did everything good & nothing great. If you're looking for a good all around track in trails, don't want to worry about stud issues, don't mind loosing a little traction, then ice ripper is awsome. I had mine for short time, but friend loved it & loved no worries. My studded track ripped on last run of year because of stud & would have ended my year if it was not the last 50 miles of year. This year it will be 1.25" ice ripper. Hope this helps...

The Ice Ripper will also be my next track!
My bud purchased one at the T.O. show for his XLT and it looks like a great track!
240 imbedded studs and no worries of ever loosing one into your heat exchanger!
We also talked to a guy who runs one on his Warrior, he stated he had over 9000 km's on his and has had zero issues.
Like mentioned above, it is not meant for drag racing but if your just a trail rider like me, then I see it as a perfect track
