2009 Apex GT LTX. I have noticed that the "half-moon" shaped sliders on the top of my suspension seem at least half worn out. Due to wacky winter last year I only have 1200 miles on them. Usually double that. So I'm wondering are these like the Hifax that seem to wear to half way pretty quick and then slow down or should I be looking to replace every 1200 mi. or so. I don't believe I've seen this on the site before so maybe there's another problem but I can't see it.

hows your track tension? if its real sloppy i could see this happening. They are just there to keep the track out of the shock and suspension likke a bumper. shouldn't be waring out. is the top of them warn flat.
if you can get a picture post it.

I take my skid out every year and have never seen any major wear other than sand and gravel scrapes.

cheers

Track was real loose when I checked it at 650 miles. Maybe all the wear happened during that first 650. Tension now is still good. I'll just replace them and keep an eye on 'em. My dig camera just broke last month so no pics for now. Thay are worn on the top though, it was definitely track causing wear. I forgot about how loose it was. Thanks

Mine are worn. 14,000 miles on sled. I'm not worried about it. They've looked like that for a while...
