I have a 2014 Viper XTX with track vibration when we are in deep snow. Installed an anti-stab kit thinking that would solve the problem, but did not help. We tried running the track loose or tight with no results. The track appears to be running in line. When we are on a trail there is no problem at any speed just in loose or deep snow. Has any one else experienced this??? Really could use some help or a few ideas. My dealer has not figured my problem either. Thanks in advance . Peter

These just vibrate a lot. My hands almost go numb from vibration. The arctic cats are the same.

rier01,
Shortening up the limiter straps and backing off the front skid shock spring preload will help reduce this.
The XTX skid is basically a 141" version of a Proclimb skid. The skid is an un-coupled skid and in soft snow under load the skid transfers to the point where the front will extend to the limiter strap limit.
Adjusting the straps/front spring helps reduce the pressure at the front of the rails as the track makes contact.
Typically it won't eliminate the vibration, but it will reduce it in most cases.

It may be the 3 in. pitch (longer distance between teeth)
It may be track design, I had an 03 Viper that came with a Camoplast Predator track and there was always a vibration. Switch to a Ripsaw and vibration was gone, (both were 1 1/4 tracks).
Are the Cat High Country (uses different track) or any one that has changed tracks seeing this.

I changed to the 1.75 Backcountry but won't get any powder miles on it until Saturday. I'll pay attention to see how it sounds/feels.

Just tightened up the track on mine and noticed lots of vibration ,didn't have it before so double check the tension on your track could be causing the majority of the problem,I'm going to loosen mine up tomorrow.

Mine is LTX and I get slight vibration at lower speeds to my feet, I think it could be due to the track being clipped every other window?
