04 warrior with 1400 miles. Just noticed tonight the rear shock has been rubbing on the inside of the track. Some spots are pretty bad. The track has been pretty tight to prevent ratcheting in deep snow so I dont think the track has been slapping the rear shock? Anyone else see this. ===SRXSRULE===

5700 miles on my 04 Warrior and no problems ;)!

The track will only touch the shock if it is WAY overtensioned. If its ratcheting enough that you had to tighten it that much, something must be WAY out ... check for cracks in the W-arm, make sure that you have control rods that are adjusted within spec, make sure that limiter straps aren't out too far, etc.

the track is tight, but it has to be. I ditch ride it alot and somtimes that means 4-5 feet of fresh snow. If I go a 1/2 turn looser it will ratchet. The W" arm is fine, no cracks. The suspeion (other then tension) is 100% stock, I havent adjusted anything. My sled has no warranty and never did so thats out. Airwolf...is your track a 136? I think next fall I will buy some new yamaha extroverts that that put on the Apex Mt and then buy a new 3.0 pitch track. ===SRXSRULE===

Post em. I may be interested. There is a chance I may not trade in my Warrior and may just keep it for the wife. The current track is fine, but it can't hurt to have a spare, especially one that is already studded.

make sure your rear shock is on the correct way ,its easy to put them in wrong and it does make a difference, swap it end for end and check you clearance then,i rebuilt my rear skid at about 6000 miles and i put the shock in backwards for a few hundred miles til i noticed it was rubbing hope this helps

I noticed that there is a spot about 1" in diameter on the inside of my track in the center that was rubbed by something. It tore a piece of the track out about 1/8" deep and I can see the cords in the rubber. It seems that is hasn't hurt anything, as I had the suspesion out to check it over and grease it. I also repacked my suspension boogie bearings. In my opinion, the factory doesn't put enough grease in the bearings.

03

On the 03 the front shock lower mount hits on the track. Mine is also scuffed up on the inside of the track. The lower mount obviously gets hit by the track when you hit somthing solid in the center front of the track. The mount is all bashed up!

Could this be breaking W arms???
