What is the tallest lug you can fit on a rtx (06-07) ?I am thinking about a New sled coming off a 05 800 x with a 1.75 121" track.Dont run studs and do some off trail riding in N.Y. Do not want a 136" . Thanks

I know Rich from richpowersports had a 1.5 ripsaw on his sled..

not sure if a 1.75 will fit..

Why don't you want a longer track? There's way more downside to taller lugs than longer track, including inability to hook up on hardpack. A longer track with shorter lugs will get better traction (deep), better flotation, better hookup (hardpack), more predictable cornering (than a real tall lug shorty), and far greater stability at all speeds.

Plus, it'll last longer.

I have had renagades with 1.25 x136" and have rode 144",151"x2" summits .I feel the shorter track sleds handle better and can be thrown around much easer than the long track sleds. I can get 2000-2500 miles on a track weather it is studed or with 1.75 high lugs. After that they seem to come apart. I cant take off without putting it to the bars or help but hitting every field that we come across . If you ever race a sled with a 1.75 snowcross track on you would know that they hook like no other on hardpack.
