Hello everyone it's about time I put a new track on my 09 nytro what are your recommendations for a 121" mainly used in hard packed trail conditions I want to hook up as best I can. I have 144 Mack studs in the stock track now very durable stud but it doesn't hook as well as I'd like
Thanks
Thanks

Ripsaw II with 1.25 lugs on mine, really hooks up! Much better than stock original Ripsaw! Plus much better in the loose stuff also!

I have a 1.5 ripsaw and ride primarily groomed trails, I feel it hooks better then a studded track and I had the stock ripsaw studded with 144 mack studs also. Don't have to worry about stud damage either

I am running the Ripsaw2 studded in a 4/2 pattern up the middle using Woodys Grandmaster 1.325's with double backers on the 4 bar and round backers on the 2 bar areas.
The Ripsaw2 is a waaayyyy better track than the Ripsaw...both on the trail and in loose snow.
Highly reccomend the Ripsaw2 if yer sticking with a 1.25

I run the 1.5" Intense track and I mainly run groomed trails. No studs here. But it hooks up like mad and I can still play in the powder a bit.

I'm looking too, I got a 1.375 now, but I want a 1.5..i had the 1.5 freeride on both my phazers, wish I could get that in a nytro..track is all around awesomeness..but anyway..i want a 1.5 for the nytro I'm totally up in the air..ripsaw2 or intense..80% trails, 20% field and ditch play..i want a good launch, so stiff lugz..

I really like my backcountry. It hooks up awesome on the trails. Little to much maybe at times. Works really good off trail as well. We don't get pure ice here so I'm not worried about studs or spinning out usually.

Thanks guys leaning toward the ripsaw 2 but the only thing that worries me is a lot of people claim ur was made specifically for the nytros to stop ski lift which that's half the fun of owning a nytro lol

I just put on a 1.75" backcountry and it works great on an off the trail. I couldn't believe the difference over the stock 1.25" ripsaw (garbage)

the ripsaw is a very good track for trail riding. The Backcountry is complete garbage for trail riding.

I actually prefer the backcountry over the ripsaw on the trail. It corners just as good as the ripsaw and hooks up 100 times better. The ripsaw does not hook up and just spins. Maybe the ripsaw 2 is good, not sure I've never tried one. Only thing I know is ill never buy a ripsaw ever again. It has 1.25" lugs with big notches in it it going halfway down the lug. You are lucky if you have .75" grabbing any snow. Any reason why you think the backcountry isn't good for trail riding NO2? I've used both tracks and its a no brainer the backcountry is better on the trail

NO2 I'm curious as to why you would say such a thing? I love mine even for trail riding. I've never had any problems with it. Are you having problems on ice? Have you ridden a backcountry on trail?
Unless you want to powerslide around every conrner I haven't seen any downsides to it. I've never tried mine with all the transfer taken out but so far I can't powerslide around a corner.
