It is black and unmarked. It does have low engagement, but I don't know the rates. For me that low engagement translated to better hookup which was one of the main advantages of this kit over others.

Thanks I thought it was a red. Tried to look at it as the ends are wore from being in the clutch for a year and no colour change from the black paint. I thought it would be red underneith.

I sold the kit to try the two speeds this year just for something different. It was the fastest and most trail friendly kit I have tried to date though. I'm sure you will be happy. I ended up with one from the longest set screw in the weights. I was also using the white Attak secondary spring.

well I made a few changes to my set up I have a 23 tooth top gear 144 inch cobra track. brian at sled werx said to leave the secondary spring alone what do you think? I thought I would need a different spring myself.

I'm not sharp enough to say. I'm sure he would know what is best for their kit. I just used the white because that is what I was already running and he said it was ok to stay with it.

I am the one who bought the trail terminator kit off nails and rails. I set wrap at 70 degrees (6 and 1) and I left the long weights in like he had them. I had a chance to ride it a little last night on the grass and it feels quite a bit faster. At first I thought the engagement was a little high but after riding a couple minutes I think I will really like it.
