I have a question for anyone who has installed a trail terminator clutch kit i have installed one and have noticed that the base of the weight doesnt sit against the roller like the stock weights did which means the weights swing before hitting the roller and engagement is now at 4500rpm and before was at 3500 rpm ? is this normal ?

I don't have that kit, but I know the whole principle behind it is to come out real low to reduce track spin. So I would say that is not normal.

Hey, I am in Innisfil, are you familiar with the lake? We should meet up down here and I can check it over for you on Saturday morning....or even tomorrow night.
Yes, the Dalton weights may appear to flop in there, but the very second you spin that clutch, those weights are pressing hard against the rollers!! It's all good!

Perfectly normal. Post back the results of the kit. I am running the 24t gear and the second biggest set screw in the tip. My sled seems to pull a little more weight than most so you may not end up with that much weight, but you should be able to pull the 1/2in set screw in the tip. I still need to find time to put in the 25t gear to see how it does. Which gear are you running?

Is his high engagement normal?

I believe my engagement is closer to 4K. The engagement is what sets this kit apart for me. It is so much smoother than the other kits I have tried. It's also the fastest kit I have tested. Boss Performance is the next fastest kit and is also a great kit. I decided to stay with this one because it engages smoother which just makes it nicer on the trail for me. Fuel mileage is just a hair better with this kit as well. (Just tested this last weekend)
If this guy has any install issues, I'm sure they'll get it resolved this weekend.
