<<<<<<sorry for the stupid question, this is my first new enclosed trailer>>>>>>
I just bought a new Loadrite enclosed 2 place trailer (pretty good deal, brand new for 2100). My sleds are not in it because I haven't screwed down the ski guides yet but I crawled in my trailer, closed the lid, and measured from the edge of the lid to the middle of the hold down slide and it was about 23.5 inches on both sides. The lid takes up about 1.75 inches on both sides so my interior deck width is now 97.5 inches instead of 101 and my sled is 48.2 inches wide. That is going to give me 1 inch of margin when I load 2 sleds in there AND the sleds won't be centered on the hold down slide. Is this typical? 1 inch isn't much.

My trailer is the same way, not much room for error. If i trailer two sleds with Simmons Skis than one ski has to overlap onto the other ski. Also i never let anyone else load there machine on my trailer ,after my buddy(peter) gouged my new Simmons Ski while loading up his machine. Anyways you should still be able to get two sleds on,just be carefull.

I have a tight fit in a top cap, You will find the sleds get much narrower if you lift the front. WHat we do is load the first sled, lift the front and pull over to tight with side, then 2nd sled. It will be tight but amazing the variabily in width just by lifting the fronts..

Enjoy
