Anyone else have rust on their transfer rod aleady? I'm a little surprised since my RTX hasn't even been out of my garage yet. I have since coated it with oil - but I didn't dare rub it with a scotch pad or steel wool beacuase it looks like it has some type of black finish that would probabaly come off and expose it to more rust. ![Banghead :o| :o|](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/banghead.gif)

WHAT? Now I have to look at mine. That stinks, Vice. Is it on the section of the rod that will move inside or further up?

I was hoping it would've been closer the other way for you. Atleast then, the rust would go away from the mechanics of the suspension once you ride it.
I haven't gotten out to check mine out just yet. Later today I will be checking her out though. You would think it wouldn't rust at all. What's going to happen when these parts actually get exposed to the weather? We'll have to come up with something.
