Transfer
Change the 10 mm plastic washer at the bottom of the rods to the 2.5 mm washer available from Yamaha. This will improve transfer greatly.

This is from flatlander experience, so not totally apples to apples, but I'll give my thoughts anyways.
The transfer rods will obviously aid in the hookup. But the problem that I would see for you is that you don't want that additional weight on the front skis. You don't want the nose to pushing down so much that you lose your flotation in the powder. I would probably look at the limiter straps in conjunction with the transfer rods.
The main problem here is the skid along with so much torque that is produced. I have the same problem even trail riding. It's tough to get the stock track/skid to feel good in every riding condition and to still get that hookup.
If you do go the transfer rod route, I'd probably go to the bender, very easy to adjust, probably a little pricier than the MPI, but works well.
