Bikes are so dang dependable. A guy could buy an average old street bike for a grand and ride it forever without doing much at all. Our Phazers, not so much........

The bags came from Corbin (called beetle bags) all painted & ready to put on. About $1800 to buy 'em nowdays, I got them back in '03 for $900

Well yesterday I was bored so I cut down te stock medium windshield. It was very easy to do:
1. Cut out new shape of windshield on a piece of cardboard.
2. Test fit on sled.
3. Trimmed it and made it symmetrical.
4. Traced it onto thick paper.
5. Taped up the windshield where the cuts would be.
6. Traced the outline onto the windshield.
7. Cut with a jigsaw and a wood blade (made a smooth cut).
8. Sanded down edges with palm sander.
9. Re-attached trim on windshield.
10. Mounted on sled.
Took about an hour from start to finish.
