07 FX Windshield Help

My Girlfriend wants either the medium or tall windshield for her FX. She has the stock shorty on there now. Does she need to buy the mounting bracket for either of these or will a taller windshield screw onto the original bracket? It just takes 4 screws with the original shorty.

I know the tall windshield and the short windshield use the same mounts, I've swapped a tall one for a short one on my sled. I don't see why the medium one would be different.

i think they are the same,my wife's gt has the tall one that came from factory and it is very warm,much warmer than my 09 vector

I put a tall one on my RTX in place of the small one for riding when the temp is real low. The tall one bolted right up to the stock bracket.
