Does anyone have the Yamaha trunk bag installed on the Apex XTX ?
I have a 2015 model , and the picture on the Yamaha Canadian website only shows it on a short track version , which is hooked to the bumper at the back.
On the XTX it appears the straps will be right where the exhaust is ,and could be a heat issue .
I didn't see this bag on the U.S. site .
An installed picture would be great , even better if it is on a sled with the WRP hi rise seat .
Any help is appreciated .

I have the trunk bag on my 13 xtx, there are 2 nylon sling hoops that get bolted or riveted between the tunnel and the hose cover on the side under the exhaust covers. the strap on the trunk bag when tight has 1/2" of clearance to the exhaust covers. Works well just keep it snugged up, lots of storage and comes off easy.

didn't notice those D rings in the bag with the cam buckles, as they were too close to the directions , which you cant look at before you install it ,only after ! And the Yamaha picture has the straps looped around the bumper , on a short track ,and it is the old style back end , with the wide exhausts !!!

They sell exhaust turnouts that work good so you can use a large bag on the platform.

This is my set up on my MTX but you get the point. It's the Ling system from brp, even tho I hate the brand it's still a good ascesorier for carrying stuff.

Thanks for the pics.
I am looking to combine the trunk bag with some kind of gas container , for my sons sled that always runs out of gas , on the back tunnel extension .
I bought all the billet accessories , and somehow forgot to get the exhaust turnouts !

the second pic of the trunk bag , shows the straps looping around the rear bumper ??

if I hook it up likr that , the straps are right in the way of the exhaust on the new narrower exhaust models .
