Wondering if anyone is planning on buying a set of the new Yamaha Dual Runner ski's? Did anyone happen to talk to any of the Yamaha reps at Hay Days or the Syracuse shows and got some insight on how these skis will perform on the Nytro's? What are some of you TY guys thinking about these new skis?

as for dual runner skis, ive heard that they rail in the trails however if you do any off trail they bogg like crazy. this is due to the limited footprint of the skii aswell as the extra weight on the front end (all nytros). so for a nytro i would rec, either pilot 6.9 or simons.

They looked nice and like they'd rail in the corners. But they were not very wide -- I doubt more than about 5.5" wide, so I bet they would be marginal at best off trail. And they do not have a concave bottom like Simmons skis have which makes they so great off trail, funneling snow underneath the ski to create from end lift.
To narrow for a heavy front end and dual runners rob top end.
