Couple of pictures from this Friday,
The RTX SE is equipped with a Back Country 136x1.75, a Hartman tunnel extension, the standard seat and the standard exhaust. The MTX SE is equipped with a Maverick 162x2.25, a Skinz seat, a custom made exhaust (exiting above the tunnel) and a custom made block-off plate.
Both sleds did the same 80 kilometer (50 mile) ride that was distributed 50/50 between on-trail riding and off-trail riding. All trails were covered with 100-150 mm (4-6") of fresh snow and all off-trail riding was performed in extremely soft and bottomless fluff. The RTX SE showed massive ice build-up under the tunnel extension and under the silencer. The MTX SE showed only a thin layer of snow under the tunnel extension and only a little bit of ice build-up around the area where the silencer goes through the block-off plate. The pictures were taken when the sleds arrived back to the garage. No snow and ice has been removed during the ride.
