Alot of ice build up

2. The ice buld up is no damn joke! I bottomed out going 80 as the trail made a sharp dip and a HUGE junk of ice broke off. The ice block bounced once and then skipped up and my buddy ran into it. It busted the trim on his windshield and worse, busted his Skidoo modular shield. Te outer shied was cracked about 3" right between the eyes! He was so shook up that I thought he was going to turn around and go back to the Hotel. He said a 20 lb rock coming at him woudnt have felt any different.

I never considered this before. This is when it becomes a safety issue rather then an annoyance.

On our last run when it broke off my it went in the other direction and got jammed up between the track/tunnel/front heat exchanger. What a freaking noise that was. Had to stop and beat it out of there. Better then almost taking the head off my riding buddies though.

I'll post pictures of his shield. Oh by the way I forgot I broke both windshield side air deflector/flaps off my friends IQ shooting chunks at him. Pretty lousy/flimsy windshields from Polaris but still that has to tell you something

I came across this in a sled mag. This could be the ticket. Has anyone used it? Supposed to prevent ice build up. I'll look into it and let you guys know.
