Did any one have a tunnel protector start vibrating, my left one is making an awful racket at slightly above idle speed, Is it riveted on or bolted, I can't feel up there very well.
Is it hard to get the seat off to fix this?

It is riveted and taking the seat off is not hard. Two black #3 phillips head screws on the black plastic tailight cover , two allen head bolts around each of the exhaust pipes ( one of the three is a dummie)and two 10 mm nuts on the seat where it is bolted to the muffler cover and the seat slides out to the rear. Don't forget to un plug the tailight wires at the right front corner of the seat as you start to slide it back. The rivets are right there in the tunnel.

Is this a common issue, just drill the old ones out and re-rivet or use a small ss bolt?

There are some under the tank to. Just drill them out and put in new ones. Do you run studs.

It's the protector moving on the mount, just seems to be the 2 rear ones on the left.

No studs yet, waiting to see how it works next winter ( just bought it ) It has a 1.25 Ice ripper on it now.

Ice ripper is a good track.

samr thin happened to me.... drill out the back revel install nut/bolt, problem solved.. only issue is.. 2 of the rivets have to be done when exhaust out.

If you don't run a studded track then i'd just remove the protectors completely and be done with all of that ice accumulation.
