- 2010 Nytro XTX Black edition
Just wondering if anybody has some experience with a complete tunnel wrap. Im thinking about just plain black, completely wrapping the tunnel, up around the tail light (XTX). I also may try wrapping the running boards.
obviously the running boards would wear the quickest so id do it in two pieces incase they tore i could just take that piece off, but i think with the snow holes keeping your boots up off the flat surface, the wrap wear may not be too bad?
I know powder coating would be ideal, but im not going to tear down the whole sled just for looks!
Cheers

I was thinking about doing my tunnel with 3m Di-noc carbon fiber wrap, if you watch some YouTube videos it seems to go on the best. But I have decided to go with powder coating this year just for the icing issues.

did 5000 km this year on my Nytro this winter and had a blast and would agree a little bit Kurzy with the exhaust but a #*$&@ load of ice build up every where under and rode with 2 new cats and new Vipers that are basically the same sled and they are different Tunnle and suspension cause they use cat design with Yamaha Motor and no icing issues while i was caring around 100 lbs of ice even stuck to all suspension parts. i sprayed silicone on the whole tunnel and suspension for the last 1200km trip we did on the weekend -22 and no issues so it is tunnel exhaust and suspension combination and mine is 2012 that is all aluminumTunnel icing is due to the exhaust being in the rear end. Nothing really to do with suspension.
