Hi everybody.

I've been a member here since 04 but haven't been on in the last 5yrs. I tried to find my old login (forgot it) but no luck.

For 2012 I'm leaving the 2-stroke's and heading to the 4's with the intent of going TURBO ;)!

My questions are as follows......

Custom sleds isn't overly for from me and they sell boondocker turbos and McExpress turbos.

Mc has been making turbo's longer than BD as far as I know; and I'm having a hard time getting pro/con information on either unit.

Any opinions on either would be welcomed?

I'd like 225-250hp with NO lag that can handle a 500 mile ride if need be.

I've got 4-stroke atv's in my stable but they're a different animal than the 4-stroke sleds; especially turbo'd ones.

Somebody like myself who's been riding/tuning 2-strokes for the last 15yrs.; am I biting off more than I can chew going turbo?

I'll have the unit professionally installed but I need to service and maintain it.

Thanks in advance

Go with mc rear mount. alot less headaches of a front monut. What's your location?

All turbos have lag, nature of the beast. Like Fly said, mcx & be done with it. Cant go wrong with them, they have been in the boost game since 1985. Have a great dealer network inplace, the tunnel intercooler, the intercooler under the hood gives the best cooling. Its pretty much a gas & go turbo kit.

My vote would be the mcx kit. Have built both and currently ride a mcx and honestly wouldnt buy a boondocker.

Custom sleds canada? Be leary if dealing with them, they have screwed alot of people over including myself. They are no longer a dealer or supporter on this site for a reason.

Ouch!

Anyone know of any reputable shops in Ontario that sell/install McXpress turbos?

User on this forum called Triplerev in Guelph sells and installs them. I just did my own install it is not that bad. The MCX180 kit is even easier to install since no engine work needed. I would be willing to give you a hand but it sounds like you are aways from me.

reputable shops

Ditto on mcx turbo. They seem to be the least problematic than the others and they work really well. Had mine done at Motorsports Pickering and there service and follow-up is second to none. Highly recommend them. There number is 905-420-4172 if interested.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll try to get in touch with those shops and see what they have to offer.
