Turbo oil consumption

I don't know guys, but I have about 1400MI. on mine. Installed the Turbo, right from new and have had no oil consumption. I have been told by various Yamaha people that its not good to burn synthetic in this motor. I've just been using Yamalube and have not used a drop.

Buckeye, You might be pushing oil by your turbo bearing/seals. Espesially if youre using the engines oil pump. (up to 75psi)

I don't have a turbo and am using Amsoil 0w-40 and I seem like I am using oil. I am beginning to think it is that oil.

Still no oil use here, 0-40 Amsoil in. 500mi on since turbo install oil level has not changed.
