So if I ship my 03 Mtn out on the last barge in the fall like September, where is the best place in your opinion to have a turbo or supercharger installed and have some weight reduction done maybe Edmonton, Golden Revelstoke or where. Also how many Canuck bucks would one cost installed? I might as wells look at a new skid too who makes the best?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

It depends on how much money you want to spend. I installed my turbo, and was heavliy involved in 3 others. Front mounts seem to around $5600, rear mount was $6300. The ones I did were fronts, see lots of rear, never installed one. Depends on power level you want. Front mounts without motor mods about 200hp, 3 headgaskets/race fuel like mine is around 250hp, for now. Rear mounts come with a thicker gasket and are 240hp, dont' know much about them. Superchargers new to the sled game a $5500. I have heard lots of the same power levels as turbos. Turbos take from 8hrs to 25 hrs to install. Just depending on how far you go. Pistons take it up farther, I priced out rodes today $1400. Talked with one of the super dealers today from Idaho, he told me first super around 8hrs to install, second 4hrs. This is at the stock hp level, no engine mods. Then you get into the add on's. Boost gauge/holder, boost controller, jetting, clutch parts, weights, rollers, springs. Drivers are good to have for more power, but then you would need to cut the stock track, or replace it. Rear suspension is another can of worms. Price mostly, replace stock pieces for $1000, all the way up to a $6600 skid. Tunnels go for $750 to $1900. Front suspension run around $450 to 600 for chromoly, there is Ti for $1800. It is just about endless on stuff that you can get for the RX1 now. Just depends on money/time. If that hasn't scared you of, I will pm you more info. All prices are rough numbers in Canadian dollars. Horse power levels are from manf websites, not me. ;)!
