I was wondering if i should go with a turbo or supercharger. I do mostly trail riding but love to register in drag races. Would the supercharger be alot harder on fuel than the turbo. Could i adjust the boost for example less boost to run pump fuel and higher boost to run race fuel on a turbo or supercharger. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The turbo is going to get better fuel mileage and easier to adjust boost up or down. I have ridden and installed supercharger, rear mount turbo, and front mount kits. All work well, but if you want quiet and easily adjustable with good fuel mileage I would go with a front mount. We offer the only turbo kit made with a cast iron header for long life and never having to worry about a header problem!

I would suggest either Stage 2c or Stage 2d, if you have any questions please let me know!

Stage 2c
8 psi, Skinz muffler, Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge, Boost Gauge, no clutching included
Retail: $5,649.99
Summer Price: $5,149.99

Stage 2d
8 psi, Skinz muffler, Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge, Boost Gauge, Clutching & Gearing package
Retail: $5,977.99
Summer Price: $5,477.99

Alright thanks alot. at 8 psi is that with pump fuel? And can u increase the psi to run with race fuel easily? At 13 psi how much hp is that and will i have to lower the compression?

I would seriously a look at the new Impulse Pump Gas Turbo w/ stand-a-lone fuel system - can run 15-17 lbs of boost depending on elevation. Unbelievable power and good fuel economy too! I am running a PL Turbo with a claimed 270hp and the Impulse set up feels like it has quite a bit more than mine...

8 lbs of boost is 205-210 hp depending on the engine temp, etc that is on pump fuel. Increase the boost to 13-14 lbs, dump in race fuel and you have 265-270 hp. Our system is setup and tested on the trail at sea level with stock sound level.

Our setup also allows you to run a STOCK motor, no changing pistons or installing a head shim. If you want higher boost I can set you up with a thicker head gasket and turn the boost up and have this ability for higher boost on pump gas.

The 60 gram base are not nearly heavy enuff. they require about 10 more grams then a 40/10 to achive the same rpm,s.
Run 20/50 2 speeds or find a set of 50/10 1 piece weights.
