Been thinkin about a turbo phazer 144 with the mcx kit it would be mainly for the kid to ride and GF, id also use it if need be for a back up..

Wandering what issues guys have had with this set-up?? Id like to stay with a thumper as i ride a turbo nytro but I know these things can be a money pit..
Have heard they need a longer track, suspension rear and front, skis and the list goes on..
Might just pick up a summit/rev but not sure.. I only ride in the mountains.

Thx in advance for any input

A Turbo Phazer is defiantely not a ride for anyone other than an expert rider who can maintain 120% physical control over the sled. These sleds in stock form are not for beginners in the first place even though marketing would have you believe otherwise. The way I have my stock setup would be a challenge to ride fast on for anyone without 5 years of Sno-cross experience.

I stock Phazer isn't a bad choice persae with some coaching on riding position and control, but I'd save some money and get another Nytro in stock form and limit its speed with a foam insert on the throttle so it will only go so fast.. 08s are going for 5-6K USD everywhere. That's as much as the Turbo itself.
