Thrusted Vector
Expert
Well,we got our bender turbo kit for the Vector.Having instsalled the MCX kit on mine I was expecting a long job.boy was I wrong.First of all we didn't need to put a different head gasket in,left that stock. All the parts fit perfect, clearly labled and the instructions concise, well a few were for the RX1,but at least we could phone the manufacturer for clarification.Everything fit where it was supposed to.The gang at Bender were fabulous with the help.Time to start it up,turned over half a turn and fired.First thing we noticed is that the Bender kit has better throttle responce,a big hit as the Vector doesn't have ultra quick responce to start with, but it's quicker than the MCX,likely to do with the fact that the MCX kit has a head gasket spacer. It ran flawless.Time to go the hills. Our kit came with a two stage switch,4-8 lb switch,so we can play around a bit.Well the kit ran flawless on the hill as well, before we went out I shortened the rod by a couple of turns anticipating somebody not putting the kit together with the right amount of boost, and because more is better. On low boost it made 6lbs on high it made 12 lbs,gggggiddy-up go,On a steep pitch with a foot and half of frech snow,70mph track speed,no off throttle gurgles, get on and off the throttle and it ran great. The beauty about this kit is that you don't need to shop full of tools to put it together, you don't need to be a master mechanic to install it,if you can change your own sliders I think you can install this kit.If you don't need 200 plus hp,and 185 will get you by,this kit is fun to ride.Thank you Bender Racing for building a kit that you don't have to f#@ck with.
