Good to hear.
I am still on the bubble to get a kit and had a decent offer for a Dalton set-up, but just not sure how the 2 compare?

I don't know anything about the Dalton's. Havn't really seen any reviews either. Reason I went with Ulmer's is because of all of the great reviews here on TY and talking to Allan himself. Great customer service!! And the price was very fair.

kit
I was out and had a few runs with my buddy.( He has a 09 Nytro) last year he was able to walk away from me and it took me 600+ feet to gain on him..With this stage two kit..right from the start I jumped a sled on him and continued to keep it up and over 120kph... worth the money you bet................
The other day we ran a few more runs..The nytro would get the jump on me but couldn't get away.... We ran about 800 feet and by then I was pulling around him ...This was right after I ran against a 600 IQ HO .. all runs up a hill about 35% grade...

I am not sure which kit has better top end. The stage 2 Ulmer kit that I have includes a one tooth smaller top gear for better low end pull at the expense of a few top speed mph's.
Most of my riding is on twisty trails. Therefore I am not really concerned about top speed that much. I would estimate that 90% of my riding is between 30 & 70 mph so I am happy with the lower gearing for a stronger pull at these speeds.
I can still easily get into the triple digits on the lakes or the railroad bed & winter road trails which is the other 10% of my riding. I am sure that if top speed is your only concern that either Ulmer or Bender would sell you a kit that is designed for that specific purpose.

Thanks, most of my ridding is on lakes, and about 100 miles of rail bed.
