Debating whether to install Ulmer's clutch kit on MY 2012 Apex 128 standard. For those who have clutched their apex's with Ulmer, how do you like it? I ride trails only in Wisconsin and Michigan. What do I gain? What do I lose?
Just need some feedback! Thanks all!

I have Ulmers kit in my 2011 Apex SE and I must say it really is a great kit. Better backshift than stock and real smooth engagement. Didn't notice any top speed gain or lose but I haven't gone and done some runs and then changed back to stock to know for sure. In my experience that really is the only way to tell cause conditions can really play a role in what you may run for top speed day to day. I will say you can't beat Allen's customer service he's almost always just a phone call away and has always helped me out with any questions I've had.

I just got the kit, but my sleds in pieces and I won't be able to get it back together till mid-week at best. I'll let you know when I do get it going how it works out
