Has any one had a problem with the Ultra-Q pipe? Mine blew a hole through the back. :o|. I can post up pics when I get a chance. I think I heard on here that this happen to someone but I can’t remember.

cannondale it happened to. It cracked right up the middle of his and split right open from the photo i remember seeing. I find it weird that this is after happening more than once now..?

YES this happened to me and i dealt with skinz directly real good guys and they have a new metal supplier the old one wouldn't stand by their stock... Just Email them photos of your pipe and what happened they will send you a call tag and test your pipe. as long as you are under the 3 year warranty they will replace your product free of charge.

my super q broke in half in 400miles skinz pipes are junk my buddys 08 dragon 600rr did the same thing but his lasted a whole year

I must say that i had the same impression but i have had much contact with the company and they do A LOT of testing on their own Yamaha sleds and others such as arctic cats but the metal supplier they used in the past was sending them metal that wasn't to their specs IE to hard and not allowing any flex. Their new metal stock is Certified and up to constant spec so this should be a problem of the past and i haven't had any trouble with my new silencer and defend them based on the fact that they were eager to help me and didn't give me any #*$&@ like i know other companies would. I would definitely buy another Skinz product In a heart beat

ya they seem like a standup company, I just hope mine doesn't go bad as I got it for 110$ new as a "scratch n dent". It has a little ding in it from shipping, but I didn't get a warranty. Oh well, year 2 and 1500 miles on my Ultra Q. If it goes bad I might use it for parts and weld the head pipe and cover brakets on the smallest Flowmaster I can find and try that!

Well the issue with some of the pipes is that they have a metal thats too hard so they go FAST so im guessing you didnt get a deffective pipe. Mine was cracked after 2 rides prolly 75-100 miles

I checked mine today and noticed that the seam that cracked on your is to the topside of the muffler facing the seat on mine. No cracks to be found yet.
