Unable to start personal conversations?

When I click on a fellow members user name, I can get the box to come up. However when I click on "start a personal conversation" I get an error message that says that I do not have permission to continue?

If someone sends me a PM, I can reply no problem, I just can't start a new one for some reason.

Also is there a way to edit my posted messages like before?

Edit button at bottom of message window seems to be working for me. I cannot help you with your other issue though.

Hmm, that's odd there doesn't seem to be an edit box/tab anywhere in my posts. The only option shown is "reply" once I have made a post.
I did poke around in my user profile some, thinking that I might have a setting turned off somewhere. However so far no luck though.

Can you do it now and see the message feature under the other users names?
