Under tunnel

New to the nytro scene and was wondering if anyone has put the stock muffler under the tunnel ? I'll be riding in Vermont and they are stupid strict about stock equipment but I'd like to utilize the under seat area . Will the stock muffler fit under the tunnel ?

many have put magnaflows undernieth such as myself. if you can weld cut the header to work and it should fit no prob. might have to mess with the rear tunnel protectors

I don't think it will be possible. If it is you would have horrible clearance issues. The has a much thicker case top to bottom then using a magnaflow or other brand. Aftermarket car mufflers can go from as small as just under 3" thick to around 4" thick. If you are worried about loudness a larger magnaflow or equivalent muffler will probably work. I heard vermont is pretty strict about their rules. Other thing I would double check is putting the exhaust even if it is the stock muffler under the tunnel is "modifying the stock factory system" so they may even nail you for that if they are picky. But really if you put a larger magnaflow on there they are still much lower pitched than the 2 stroke counter parts so probably won't gather alot of attention.
