For those of you who painted your seats with vinyl spray paint how did it hold up throughout the season?

seat
I painted my seat on my xtx in 2009 held up perfect so far for 2 seasons, I changed the grey part to red, I prepped seat and then painted it when it was 90 degrees out , set seat out in sun between coats I didnt think it would hold up ,but so far so good I used the SEM vinyl paint

I used the dupicolor setup mine was blue and black
I have a little blue showing up in the front where i am always rubbing on while sitting needs a 2 min touch up job and will look perfect again
much cheaper than a 200.00 seat imo....

I have never had paint where off when using sem brand vinal dye, but they where out of it. So I bought the same as above duplicolor paint and it wears off. I will be stick ing with the sem brand from now on.

SEM is the brand name of the vinal dye paint.
Don't use duplicolor.

Mine did not last very long. I even cleaned the seat with alcohol before spraying. After 2-3 rides you could see the blue coming through. It looked great as long as you dont sit on it
