Just want to update you guys on riser block for 07 rtx. I purchased a 2 inch straight riser block from dennis kirk. It states for all yamahas from ?-07. Well after recieving it my worries were came true. It does not work with stock yamaha riser and plastic chrome trim piece. The bolts are way to short. I tried ace hardware for long enough bolts but nothing comes close. And even if you find some long enough you still would have to modify the riser block to accept the trim piece if you want to mount it on the bottom of riser. I called powermadd direct and they said yes that part from dennis kirk is not correct. They said my best option would be to buy there new universal riser if i dont want to add risers and pivot riser system. I still question if there bolts will be long enough with stock yamaha riser. The universal riser is intended for flat bottom steering posts, so i think you could not use stock yamaha riser. But not sure. So ask before purchasing any block risers.

Check out the riser setup that I offer - see link in my signature. It will provide you with roughly 2.5" of rise over stock, plus the option of pivoting it forward or back to your liking. We are currently working on changing the design of the adapter block so that the stock chrome trim piece will still work with our risers. We also provide stainless steel bolts that are long enough.
