Just doing some regreasing on all the wheels on the Attak and the Nytro XTX, and I notice on both sleds on the upper wheel aluminum shafts, that there is some wear on one side where the inner race of the bearing sits on the shaft. Those wheels are kept in place on the Attak with a floating nylon collar and on the Nytro with an aluminum collar with a set screw. Anyone else seeing wear in these parts? These are lower mileage sleds, 8000 and 4500 respectively so I'm a little surprised, but I do see where the potential for a little side to side movement and the softer aluminum, could allow this to happen. I did a search but couldn't find anything. Probably not a good thing that the inner race can turn on the shaft, so I am wondering if anyone can see any reason why I couldn't take out the 6205UL bearing out and replace it with the UB205 that we use on the speedo. That has the collar and race all one piece and 2 set screws, so should eliminate any more wear on the shaft. Any thoughts? DSC04518.JPG

I see no reason why that wouldn't work.
