I'm helping my buddy shop for a 2 up for him and his lady. We found an 07' rs venture with only 40 miles on it for $5,000. Is this a fair price??

Seems a bit high, especially this time of year.

Also, that's the generation of 973 cc that had potential timing chain tensioner failures.

the price is good for around here and we know that sled will take a ton of miles. just check the tensioner and all should be good.

Seems a bit high to me. My only comment is that I had an '06 Venture 2-up and hard a tough time keeping carb clean with the ethanol. I sold it end of last season for $3500 with 1500 miles on it.
